Michael Scheibenreif is the “African Drone & Data Academy” manager at UNICEF and previously tested humanitarian drone applications as UNICEF “Drone Corridor Lead” in Malawi. He established and managed the "Competency Centre Drones & Innovation” at Austro Control - the Austrian Air Navigation Service Provider and Civil Aviation Authority. Michael also advised numerous governments on the use of drones on behalf of international organisations such as WHO or World Bank. Previously, he supported the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo as Special Assistant and worked with the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the EU and private sector in Austria. Michael holds a PhD in “Organizational Development of International Public Sector Organizations”, a Master’s degree in “European Public Administration”, a Master’s degree in “Political Science” and a Master’s degree in “Business Administration”.
